Kodhi, Ayub Ogaga’s latest release is a collaboration with the English musician Trevor Warren. It is an Afro-acoustic record characterized by a nyatiti-lead.

As per a review by the Financial Times, “Kodhi, was recorded in Kenya with the guitarist Trevor Warren amid the sounds of birds and the occasional swishes of passing vehicles, has the same transparent simplicity; the occasional meanders are forgivable.

It also received rave reviews on The Guardian and fRoots magazines.

Released via Long Tale Recordings, the album is now available on all digital platforms. You can also stream it for FREE on the label’s website.
