London-based singer-songwriter Ben Brown shares an R&B-influenced up-tempo track called “What You’re Leaving For”. A zestful party banger with amazing basslines, the song goes, however, the opposite way lyrically. It’s about feeling out of place while at a club and wanting to leave.

The opening lyrics about pouring drinks sets you up to think that it is going to be a party song, when in fact the song is ironically about getting to a club and hating the music, people, and wanting to go home to get a takeaway,” explains Brown.

Fun, tongue-in-cheek and irresistibly entertaining, “What You’re Leaving For” is guaranteed to captivate the listener.

Move the beat!
