If 2020 has taught us something, it has to be the value of love amidst chaos and difficulty. The challenging year also inspired New York-born, Sydney-raised alt-pop artist Valencia James’ latest single “All The Waves”. While there’s a sense of vulnerability, the song is so uplifting.

About the song, Valencia opens up, saying: “’All The Waves’ takes inspiration from a really long, hard season I was going through that lasted really up until now and it’s become even more relevant with everything going on in 2020. It’s my way of comparing my fear of the waves to how I feel about the situations in my life and the hits that I’ve taken being likened to a succession of waves breaking over me.”

The track saw Valencia working with co-writers/producers Harrison Wood and Peter James. It was mixed by Sydney’s Ben Whincop and mastered by Bruno Gruel in Paris.
