Bea Kadri is an emerging vocalist and songwriter from Lebanon. From growing up on 90s R&B and hip-hop to being influenced by contemporary artists like Jhene Aiko and H.E.R., the artist has since crafted a style that bridges both eras. Nothing exemplifies this marriage more than her latest release, “Right For Ya”, a moody track produced by Offtrack and Jonas Holmark.
Armed with her impressive vocal range, the singer engages the listeners with a sultry yet vulnerable piece. The song sees an almost frustrated Bea questioning what it would take for a guy to realize that she is the right one for him. She reveals, “The way I’ve been there… the way we love and laugh and all, it’s different. Still, he doesn’t bring his 100% so the lyrics just poured out of me. I was frustratingly in love.”
Filmed in the vastness of desert by director Pirlanta Toubba, the accompanying music video fully captures the intensity of her emotions. “Right For Ya” is a song that most people can relate to.
