A couple of months ago, Dallas-based singer Dyer unveiled her Tightrope EP. Throughout the 5-track indie/electro-pop project, the 20-year-old Texan newcomer introduced listeners to her dark yet uplifting music. Title-track and “Virtue” (posted above) are two songs that well represent the theme and sound of EP.

More recently, Dyer released a new single titled “Party Boy” and that gave me the urge to go back and re-listen to Tightrope.
