New Woman, the third studio album by German artist lùisa, is finally out. Released via Nettwerk Music Group, the 11-song LP had been preceded by the exceptional singles “Come Around” and the title-track “New Woman”. The song being highlighted is “Burn Out”, another powerful ballad. It arrived with the album.

Throughout New Woman, lùisa delivers soulful indie-pop laced with hints of 80’s rock. The singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist’s evocative vocals shine on each track as she tackles various emotional topics. “I write in a very personal and autobiographical way, but I hope to transfer that to a more universal level,” says lùisa. “Songs should always ultimately work in a way that is detached from the author’s own experiences.”
