For many an artist, the pandemic brought with it yet another chilling reality: no live gigs. Within that state of confusion, soul/pop band Scruffy Pearls’ lead singer Carly got the inspiration to dive into a new sound. That’s how her solo project Carly Pearl began. She’s has since released the first song, “Play Me”.

This is a jazzy pop track with a charming disco groove. It features a Spanish guitar whose pleasant melody complements Carly’s sultry vocals. Altogether, “Play Me” is a sexy earworm that the artist released with the nice-looking visual posted above.
