Rising pop singer Greya‘s breathtaking new single, “Lightning“, now has a visual accompaniment. The splendid pop cut features fellow American artist Marc E. Bassy, who also appears in the Grant Ivie-directed music video. “Lightning” illustrates the struggle between two different perspectives on a broken relationship.

“In terms of the visuals, we really wanted to capitalize on the imagery of the word ‘Lightning.’ A stormy, almost apocalyptic undertone to an intimate dynamic between two people losing each other. Flashing between the scenes of Marc and I together and the solo performance shots felt like the way to do that. Watching it now, I feel like we did the song justice,” reveals Greya.
