Andrea Pizzo And The Purple Mice is an Italian music group fronted by singer Andrea Pizzo. Bombshell is the name of their newest release, a double single EP.
Its two tracks are called “Bombshell” and “The Ballad Of Alan Mathison”. They will form the foundation for the band’s upcoming album titled Transhumanity.
Andrea Pizzo and The Purple Mice’s sound is alt-rock with indie-electronic influences. These two songs illustrate the diverse nature of their music style.
“We were interested in talking about these two great and unfortunate and forgotten inventors who have had such a huge impact on our modern life scientists,” Andrea Pizzo shares about the inspiration behind the songs. “Hedy Lamarr is considered the inventor of WiFi and Bluetooth among other things , Alan Turing is the one who theorized artificial intelligence and saved England and Europe from Nazi rule by deciphering the Enigma code. Both during their lives and especially at the end were victims of prejudice and human wickedness.“
