You should definitely get to know Toshín. Fronted by vocally gifted Tosin Bankole, this Ireland-based six-piece band are known for their vibrant alt-soul style and lively shows.
With Toshín working on a new album titled I Own Everything, they’ve just unveiled the first single, “Defence”. The song’s production is so creative, which is not surprising considering the outfit is actually re-emerging from a hiatus that saw them work hard on their sound.
“Defence” melds soul music with elements of indie rock and pop. Musically contagious, the song oozes sass and confidence.
