Aria Ohlsson is one of the exciting new names coming out of the pop Canadian pop scene.

The Toronto-based singer-songwriter is vocally gifted, something that’s well showcased on her newest single “Someone Else”. With this song, Aria weaved delicate melodies that reflect the emotion in her lyrics.

“I wrote this song about watching the person you love fall in love with someone else,” Ohlsson explains. “Wondering if the person you fell for might be the one for you. If you’re the one that they still think of when they look into their eyes. but you’re the one left watching them fall into someone else. This year I have experienced so much loss in life and in love and this one pulls on my heart strings in ways where it still chokes me up.“

The arrival of “Someone Else” coincides with the announcement of the 25-year-old artist’s next EP named Introspection.
