As the song that introduces TUUDI to the music-listening world, “Just Like Before” is pretty impressive. Its production, handled by Chris Potter, brings together electronic and indie worlds. The result is a moody yet rapturous alt-pop song that I’ve been listening to nonstop.

“‘Just Like Before’ was born out of a moment of vulnerability in the aftermath of an intense breakup. I had always admired artists who could bring a rawness to their music and highlight the messiness of being human. That need to connect and express was definitive to the outcome of the song,” TUUDI shares.

The singer (birthname Scarlett Ash-Ingley) grew up in Bedfordshire, UK, but is currently based in London. She has great talent and this debut song exemplifies that.
