Kan Wakan is the moniker used by Bulgarian-born artist, producer and multi-instrumentalist Gueorgui Iliev Linev. Based in the US, the musician is known for creating immersive and cinematic sounds that evoke a diverse array of emotions.
“IO”, which features warm vocals by LA-based singer SAÍGO, is Wakan’s latest single. Arriving last Friday, the song delves into a topic that will become more prevalent in this decade: the rise of AI and the place of humans in the new tech world.
With “IO”, we find Kan Wakan in his element, creating a hypnotic and inviting soundscape. SAÍGO does a marvelous job as well, his vocals making this song even more engrossing.
