Nashville alt-pop artist townsend is back on our stereos. He recently dropped a sublime track called “bottles in a bar”.

The alternative country track is acoustic-driven and mellifluous, its catchy chorus bound to stick in listener’s head long after the music stops. Simply put, “bottles in a bar” is excellent storytelling delivered over a crisp production.

Musically and vocally, townsend outdid himself with this one. The song’s melodies keep inviting me, and I must admit have played it numerously for the past couple of days. I bet your listening experience will be similar to mine, if not better.
