Australian artist Lucy Mason has released “Going Home Broke”, the first single off their EP with the same title. She says the song’s meaning is not so literal although Living as a writer in London, she had to deal with many an instance of being financially broke.

“I felt physically broken from illness and stress and emotionally broken from disappointment. I was kinda over it all and this song went from being that sad story to becoming more of a motivation for me. I started to realise that being ‘broke’ maybe ain’t so bad”, Lucy tells Aipate.
