Hip-Hop artist Rootwords is gearing up for the release of his upcoming Warning Signs album.  The project is thematically about resistance and perseverance and the same is manifested in its just-released, first single.

Coming with a video to it, the song is titled “A Matter Of Time” and is indicative what to expect in the album. It was composed by The Block Notes, Rootwords’ live band with further input of producer Yvan Peacemaker

“A Matter of Time is a song about who and where I am today. I arrive to that conclusion by reflecting on where I could have been and who people (society) expect me to be. I think of it as a metaphor for life after death, that is to say, the moment that I came to realise my vocation.” ~ Rootwords
