Tim Schou has released the video for “Altar”. The visuals features a woman with her body covered in paint. The Danish artist had just sealed a deal with BMG.
The track carries electronic melodies with pop sensibilities. Highly danceable, the song was recorded in a Russian sauna.
“‘Altar’ was actually conceived and tracked in a sauna on the occasion of the birthday of my Russian friend Alexsej. Four German producers, a Canadian songwriter and myself were all gathered, talking about sex and religion, inspired by the divine creative forces of fermented Russian potato-juice… I like to use these random experiences that seems so mundane on the surface, but really gives life its spice and depth.” ~ Tim reveals
