Only three months after releasing her successful debut single, “Wild Enough” (6 million Spotify plays already), Swedish singer Elina has returned with her second single. Titled “Here With Me”, this new record is imbued with a tinge of melancholy, a feeling derived from both the instrumental melody and her honest composition, about which, she says:
“Something I’m trying to remind myself of every single day is to appreciate the present. It’s hard. It’s the most challenging thing for almost everyone today, I think. The song turned out being a friendly reminder for me, of being present and not taking things for granted.”
The powerful ballad further solidifies Elina’s singing career, which was preceded by a fruitful stint as songwriter, a vocation that allowed her to rub shoulders with — and write for — big-name artists like NEIKED (“Sexual”) or Maroon 5/SZA (What Lovers Do”).
