As “Drunk And I Miss You” arrives, it’s immediately been added to Spotify’s New Music Friday Iceland playlist. The song is the debut from Swedish artist KIDDO and features LA-based duo DECCO. This releases finds her stepping away from behind her writer’s desk, where she had already written for the likes of SHY Martin, KIDDO and Icona Pop. We now have the chance to grab a picture of who she is as we enjoy the soulful composition, about which she says:
“It’s about a night out when you just lost someone you love so much, you are falling apart. You do everything you can to make the pain go away, escaping reality. At the end of the night, you may fall, drunk-text, lose control and you forget what your mind tells you … but your heart always speaks very clear.”
It is a very decent release, and besides the Spotify embed, we have included a YouTube lyric video, crafted by KIDDO herself. Watch/Listen.
[…] Gashi and was premiered on Billboard. KIDDO’s debut came last year with the single “Drunk and I Miss You” which was done in collaboration with DECCO duo, who also produced this new track. […]
