“Take Me Away” is the new, just-released single by London-based artist J Elle. The melody-filled track goes side-by-side a composition that finds her speaking of getting away with that ‘right person’. The song is taken from her upcoming EP, in which she is working with UK R&B veteran, Courtney Bennett.

“‘Take Me Away’ is about finding the right person, becoming infatuated by them, and just wanting to get away with them. No distractions, just the two of you. Being on a beach is where I’m happiest, and that’s the image I had in mind when writing the song. It’s inspired by my own relationship”, Elle explains.

The UK singer-songwriter had burst into the scene with her 2017 debut EP, Phases. She’d, however been making music since she was 16. Her music falls within that contemporary, pop-tinged R&B sub-genre. So far so good, she has gained the attention of the likes of High Snobriety, New Wave District and About To Blow.
