“Stop Pretending” is new, beautiful song by Montreal-based singer/songwriter, Sara Diamond. The Canadian musician recently released her Foreword album/EP and this track is listed as the second single off of that record. With a sultry and sensual vocal delivery that drives it to the edge of pop, “Stop Pretending” is rhythmically closer to your classic R&B record. About it, Sara says:

My brain had a lot of processing to do over the past year. When fantasy meets reality type vibes. “Stop Pretending” is a representation of that time – somewhat scattered in direction, very visceral and sexually driven… playing with ideas of love, loss, lust, and everything in between.

From recording songs on her mother’s children’s record label at the age of 5 to currently accruing over 13 million online streams for her music, Sara has surely matured into a vocal powerhouse. Stream the song (Spotify), and by extension, the entire Foreword EP (Soundcloud) below as you find/follow her on Instagram.
