Elina is only on her fourth single but the Swedish singer and songwriter is already capturing the full attention of the listeners. Her latest song “Mirage” continues her onslaught towards the center-stage of the Scandinavian pop scene. The stripped-down piano ballad is a follow up to her debut “Wild Enough” and follows ups “Champion” and “Here With Me“, which as we previously indicated, all reaffirm her position among powerful vocalists. “Mirage” voices Elina’s frustration with love. The lyrics expresses the impuissant situation she finds herself in.

It takes place in the very centre of destructiveness before you’re able to move on.
