For the music video for their latest track “Player Way”, Los Angeles-based rap trio Warm Brew went the animation way. The laid-back song, which features an addictive chorus from rapper Wiz Khalifa, is as fun and playful as the title suggests. The track’s bouncy, party-themed hip-hop sound incorporates elements of funk but still retains some space for contemporary melodies. Directed and animated by Tristan Zammit and Alex Sarzosa, the record’s overly illustrative clip properly complements the vibe propagated by the composition.
Ray Wright, Manu Li and Serk Spliff make music together as Warm Brew and they’ve done so for quite some time now, steadily building up a solid fan-base in the process.
