“Neighborhood” is definitely a song worth your time, or at least I hope so. It’s a beautiful piece from American Authors, who feature Bear Rinehart (vocalist member of NEEDTOBREATHE) on it.

With an accompanying video that fully embraces its emotive feel, this record is taken off the outfit’s 2018 album, Seasons. “Neighborhood” finds Bear Rinehart and American Authors’ vocalist Zac Barnett delivering heartfelt verses in between a chilling hook.

The song is about a man who, having been compelled by a continually tight situation within the family and surrounding, has to leave his home to go and look for better opportunities elsewhere. It‘s about the difficulties of saying’ ‘goodbyes’ and the constant urge to go back.

American Authors is a Brooklyn-based, 4-piece band that is composed of Zac Barnett (vocals), James Adam Shelley (guitar, banjo), Dave Rublin (bass) and Matt Sanchez (drums). Their music, though based on rock, borrows into pop sounds. Since their debut in 2012, they have been giving fans anthems and on this new album, they get to step their game higher.
