Music has been part of IDEA‘s entire life; the Japanese singer/songwriter began playing the piano at just the age of 3. Her professional debut, however, came in 2017 with the single “I’m Thirsty”, via Universal Music Japan. That same year, she followed it with another song “All About You”. Later, she released two other songs “Wake Up” (2017) and “Brand New Way” (2018) before dropping I, her 6-track debut EP.

“All About You” and “Brand New Way”, both released on Universal Music Japan, were produced, arranged and mixed by Brazilian producer Renato Iwai. Renato has has production credits in IDEA’s forthcoming single, “ATA-SHI”.
