As the week begins, Aipate hooks you up with some new rap songs to keep your energy up.
“New Game” by Blue Tiger
Blue Tiger is a New Hampshire via San Diego hip-hop duo. The rap outfit released a new album a fortnight ago. Titled Pawprints, the project carries 13 great songs, one of them being “New Game”. This is an energetic track with a catchy hook and great flows.
“All The Time” by Nilly feat. King Los
25-year-old New Orleans rapper Nilly features LA-based rap mainstay King Los in “All The Time”, a song lifted off his new EP, Gotta Have Faith. With a video which was shot in Santa Monica, California, the record finds the two rappers flowing smoothly over a bouncy trap track.
“GMGMG” by Mari
According to Chicago-born, Atlanta-based rapper Mari, “GMGMG” is an acronym for ‘Get Money Give Money Gang’ but it’s also the title to his latest song. The self-produced track serves as the second single off of his scheduled project, Glutton Free. The accompanying music video was directed by Persia Beheshti.
“Baobab” by Ozi Jarel feat. Massah Sheriff
Ozi Jarel is a Ugandan-Sudanese rapper/poet based in Brisbane, Australia. “Baobab” is the title track to his new album, a project which was produced by Dream Machine and Callum Schalch. This song samples sounds from African greats like Fela Kuti and infuses elements of hip-hop and pop.
“Like Magic” by Smooth4Lyfe
“Like Magic” is a new original piece by Smoooth4Lyfe (Joey Ofori) and blends in hip-hop and EDM sounds. The heavy Future bass track is excitingly energetic and a perfect fit for the dancefloor.
And that sums it up, enjoy!
