When a relationship becomes unattainable, it’s only logical that the two parties involved find an amicable solution, which in most cases leads to them parting ways. South African indie-pop singer/songwriter Matt Carstens has, thus, created a new post-breakup ballad that paints the picture such a scenario. The song is titled “Somebody Else” and, although it carries a tinge of the melancholia, the song is, however, positive in its outlook.

Matt is based in Cape Town, and last year, he got to tour the UK as part of the Coffee House Sessions initiative.
