Here is a collection of some new electro-pop songs released in the Month of September. Listen/watch the 6 songs:
XTRAKYD & F51 – “DIVE”
Canadian music outfit F51 have teamed up with producer XtraKyd for a new anthem — and this one is meant for those fun-loving listeners. Titled “Dive”, this is an absolute bop with a feel-good, EDM-heavy production. For XtraKyd, this is only his second single, the first being “Cabo” (released in 2018). With a delicious taste, “Dive” will not only engage your body, but also melt your heart with the heartfelt lyrics and warm vocals.
GALXARA – “Waste My Youth”
Another exciting debut release arrives courtesy of Atlantic Records; “Waste My Youth” is the first song by pop singer GALXARA. Next to the track is the music video which was directed by NORTON. “Waste My Youth” is generally a lovely melodic synth/pop piece that effectively showcases the Florida-born, Los Angeles-based artist’s creative confidence. GALXARA co-wrote it with Warren “Oak” Felder and Michael Pollack.
Jen Kalicharan – “Nicely”
“Nicely is the debut single from Jen Kalicharan. This an urban/pop party anthem with a focus towards self-worth, confidence and empowerment. It is a great way for the young singer/songwriter to announce herself to the scene. You can follow Jen on Instagram.
John Splithoff – “Proud”
Visualized through a slick video with awesomely filmed monochromatic scenes, “Proud” must have left John Splithoff and co. quite pleased with their effort. The song which dropped via East West Records has its sounds more inclined towards indie-pop and carries beautifully delivered soulful vocals. It was written by John and Scott Harris and co-produced by Aalias. “‘Proud’ was born from a personal realization. I’ve found that when people act selfishly in their relationships, being honest with the person you care about is what ultimately shows respect and ownership of being human—inherently imperfect“, John Splithoff explains.
DANSU – “State Of Mind”
Dansu‘s new release “State Of Mind” is an electro-infused indie-pop song with a haunting organ hook and Indian summer vibes. The song’s dance video filmed in the streets of Tokyo will inject into the listener, a happy vibe. Dansu, who are based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, make catchy songs with awesome grooves. And this is, of course, a great introduction to the band.
Dayton James – “Already Won”
UK-born, Toronto-based soul/pop musician Dayton James has shared a another song. This one is titled “Already Won” and is accompanied with nice visuals. The new release comes after the artist had captivated many (including us) with his single “Change My Ways“. “Already Won” is a groovy electro-pop track with a tinge of R&B and soul.
