Listen to “Ibra Fall” by Vellúa & Yusupha Ngum

German musician/producer Vellúa did collaborate with rising Gambian vocalist Yusupha Ngum. The result is this single titled “Ibra Fall”. It is a chill, Afro-jazz piece filled up with Yusupha’s affecting vocals.

The song is a tribute to Sheikh Ibrahima Fall, a legendary disciple of Sheikh Aamadu Bàmba Mbàkke, the founder of the Mouride Brotherhood movement in West Africa. Ibra lived between the years 1855 and 1930 and is credited for establishing Baye Fall movement.
