Ariza shares debut album, Why Am I

Colombian producer Ariza has, at last, dropped his debut album Why Am I. Bringing on board Jon Rezin for the mixing and mastering, he treats listeners to a seductive blend of pop melodies and punchy synths. 15 tracks long, Why Am I is an experimental yet captivating electro-pop project.

Highlighted above is one of the standout songs; “In My Mind” features Mexico City-born singer/songwriter WardõWardõ. About it Ariza says: “When Wardõ and I got together to write ‘In My Mind’ he wanted to reflect on how much technology has influenced finding relationships, and how, even if sometimes it’s allowed to create some relationships, they are rarely hopeful or organic. Sonically, I wanted to create an introspective yet chaotic, danceable, and hard-hitting track that could encapsulate the ups and downs of a relationship, especially a hopeless, modern one.”

Artists brought on the project include Lisa Oduor on “Runaway”, Elline on “Words”, Nicole Zignago on “Walls” and Astyn Turr on “6 AM”, among others. Stream Why Am I entirely below.
