Although it is not a particularly religious piece, Swedish artist Brother Leo’s “Hallelujah” comes from a place of celestial introspection. It’s an interesting and thought-provoking song inspired by personal challenges. The singer wrote it a few years back but delayed on finishing it because it required him to emotionally deal with some painful memories.

“Hallelujah” is delivered chillingly, with Brother Leo being backed vocally by London Community Gospel Choir. The gripping piano sets the mood for producer Fat Slim Boy to add layers of electronic beats. The result is such a moving pop tune.
