Vocalist Dan Jenkins, guitarist Mark Wakefield, bassist Clarissa Stockton and drummer Andy Wells have been making music together as a band since 2016. Currently going by the moniker Amongst Wolves, the Manchester-based outfit creates faith-driven Christian music. Their signature energetic and catchy pop-rock style sits well with young people, who are their target audience.

“Golden”, which is their newest release and first single after rebranding, is a proper representation of their sound. The song employs energetic guitar riffs, blasting drums, soaring vocals and uplifting lyrics.

About it, Amongst Wolves explain that: “the song is an anthem to declare that, in a world where young people particularly are losing their sense of identity and hope, our identity doesn’t come from what we say or what other people say about us. Our identity comes from the One who created us and from who we were created to be. We’re all worth our ‘weight in gold’“
