New Zealand singer-songwriter Estella Dawn is back with another haunting ballad which she’s named “Filler 2.0”. The new song finds the 23-year-old Colorado-based musician passionately venting her frustrations in a relationship where her partner obsessively compares her to his ex. Despite her emotional investment into that relationship, she feels unappreciated.
“Filler 2.0” is an alt. pop with a heavy R&B influence. Estella’s veracious lyrics and soulful vocals, together with the melody-laden keys, give the song its gripping edge.
The artist’s debut album is expected before the end of the year and it’s a project you should keep a key eye on.
