Australian singer-songwriter and producer Hauskey got to share his debut EP, Slow, via UMG’s Republic Records. The 6-song EP seals the Sydney-based pop artist’s entry into the music scene.

Alongside the project is the music video for one of the tracks, “Silver Lining”. Mellow, melodic and colourful, this song is representative of Hauskey’s left-of-center style.

On the “Silver Lining” video, Hauskey explains, “It would have been easy to create a cliche clip for this song; montaging shots of me and a lover. But I wanted to push it a little further. To ‘physicalise’ the silver lining that keeps me going, while I’m hit by all of life’s sh*t. [Director] Chloe De Brito and her team nailed the visuals and built the boat from scratch over a weekend. Hopefully, the rest speaks for itself, as all good music videos should.
