Listen to “Forever” by Foxpalmer

“Forever” by London-based emerging band Foxpalmer is the first single from their upcoming EP called Dark Tides. The song was released on February 26.

It’s a folk-rock piece with an evocative feel. Lyrically, it’s melancholic, with the singer’s brooding lyrics, however, finding warmth in her soulful vocals. The song was written after a breakup and captures that moment when moving on seems impracticable. “‘Forever’, although it may sound delicate and perhaps a beautiful expression of one’s love for another, it is actually a story of a broken heart and failure to process the bitter reality of a changed future. Trapped in a repetitive and exhausting whirlwind of sadness and delusion. This is how the title ‘Forever’ arose,” says lead singer Fern McNulty.
