After a busy 2020, pop newcomer Emily Vu is back with a new single. “LILA” is an ode to life in Los Angeles. The singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist explained, “‘LILA’ is a song about the expectations and reality of being in LA. I specifically wrote about how love in LA basically seems impossible with all these distractions but in general the song is just supposed to portray how distracting LA can be, and how anyone can get caught up in the life.”
