Jess Chalker shares stimulating song, “Don’t Fight It”

London-based Australian artist and songwriter Jess Chalker returned with a stimulating new song filled with joyous optimism. “Don’t Fight It” is a feel-good anthem for those who may find themselves feeling lost.

The production, handled by Jess alongside Grammy-winning Rich Jacques, combines bouncy drumbeats, retro synths, lovely guitars and the singer’s stirring vocals.

There’s a bittersweetness to ‘Don’t fight it’ that I love… it feels both joyful and sad to me. It was written at a time when I was going through some personal stuff, trying really hard to please everyone, not really knowing where I fit and becoming someone I wasn’t. In the end I really surrendered to that feeling of being lost, because acknowledging that made me realise I needed to change where I was going,” explains Chalker.

The artist already announced that her upcoming debut album titled Hemispheres will arrive November 5. Connect with her on Instagram while you watch the “Don’t Fight It” video.
