When I stumbled on “Here Were Are” by Karen Culi, I did’t realize I had, effectively, been ushered into the world of the exciting new talent. Culi is a Filipina-American singer-songwriter and musician hailing from Washington, D.C. area. She continues to captivate fans with her thought-provoking lyrics, penetrating vocals and energetic yet melodic instrumentation.
