Mia Baron is a burgeoning singer-songwriter hailing from Toronto, Canada. The 13-year-old took a path similar to that of many pop artists; that is, showcasing her talent by posting covers to popular songs on social media. Currently, she is recording and releasing her own compositions. Her third single “Runaway” is out now.

“Runaway”, as the title suggest, is about escapism. Pandemic-fueled angsty moments inspired Mia to write the song. The emotions evoked by the guitars are further compounded by the moody synths that explode in the chorus, making “Runaway” so heart-gripping.
