Hanne Mjøen unveils debut EP, Emotional Fever

Hanne Mjøen‘s Emotional Fever EP tells a narrative detailing her experiences and growth — both in love and life.

The Norwegian electro pop singer-songwriter’s first official EP, it underscores her ability to create an emotionally engaging body of work. The need to get the listener dancing was not lost on her either, with each of the 5 tracks brimming with pulsating synths.

The focus-track, “Hurt Like Heaven”, came in the company of a riveting music video. The song is about being addicted to the toxicity in a relationship. Mjøen belts out: ‘Give me your worst days, give me some heartache, love me the bad way, make it hurt like heaven.’

The EP was preceded by beautiful songs like “Too Tired (Don’t feel A Thing)” and the title-track, “Emotional Fever“. Altogether, the project is an impressive effort from Hanne Mjøen.
