US indie folk pair The Light The Heat (Nathan and Jesse) will be dropping their Afterlight EP on November 19 via Nettwerk Records. A collaboration with Nashville-based artist/producer Roary, the upcoming EP was introduced to fans back in August through the lead-single (and title-track), “Afterlight”.
The second offering named “Waking Up” another solemn piece. Written about the need for reconciliation, the song furthers the EP’s theme of hope and positivity. Speaking about it, vocalist and songwriter Nathan Horst said, “Through those times I’ve learned to take ownership… and continually focus on personal growth. I want to be healthy for my family.”
