ZEBEDE are a London-based soul/funk band formed in 2018. The 5-piece comprises of vocalist Leah Cleaver, keyboardist Henry Combes, guitarist/vocalist Charlie Dauber, drummer Max Ashbee and bass guitarist Michael Jones. 2019 saw the outfit release their self-titled EP, a project that caught the attention of industry taste-makers.
ZEBEDE’s first release of the year is the single “Cool Down Brother”. This is a flavorsome concoction of funk, soul, new wave jazz and disco. Leah’s sultry delivery goes well with the track’s lively instrumentation.
