“Lately” is a well crafted R&B/soul jam. Producer Aubren Elaine effectively brings Kailaya’s powerful vocals to the foreground.

Lyrically personal, the LA-born artist indicates she wrote this piece at a time when she needed to let go of a relationship that was bringing her nothing but pain.
