Swedish folk-pop artist Harriet Nauer has a released a new EP, Catharsis. Four tracks long, the project includes the much upbeat “Bang Bang”.

A promising newcomer, Harriet’s music is melodious and expressive. Her finger-picking style and thoughtful lyrics find fuel in her powerful delivery.

”To write and to record this EP has been a truly spiritual purification,” she remarks.

About “Bang Bang”, she notes, “‘Play like Jack the Ripper,’ said my co-producer to the bass player. That’s when I felt that we’d found it. The lyrics manifest craziness and that life has consequences. It’s about revenge and about an energy that cannot be stopped. The song is sneaking yet bold.“
