Toronto rock duo Kadeema had been silent since the release of their debut EP in 2020. Well, they’re now back, having released the single “Lately I’ve Been Hoping”.

On this song, Jimmy and Tal want us to understand that we are all in the same boat: dealing with the same feelings and pains. It was inspired by time in isolation and the events of 2020 which deepened the divisions within society.

“Lately I’ve Been Hoping” is a really beautiful and relatable song.
