Rising American-Trinidadian artist LATENIGHTJIGGY shared another Spanglish jam, “Nela”. It is the second official leak from his upcoming EP, Flavors 3 (due July 29).

The Miami-based singer and rapper paired this song with an equally engrossing visual.

“Nela” fuses elements Latin-pop, Afrobeat, R&B and hip hop. Its chill vibe goes well with LATENIGHTJIGGY’s seductive lyrics and captivating delivery.

“The idea of ‘Nela’ came to me super quick and it was done on my birthday. I was in the studio and wanted to make a song and have the chorus be chanting a girl’s name, and Nela is the name I chose. I wanted to paint a picture of a woman that I find very attractive, who knows she looks good. I walked in the studio and Symon was putting together the guitar chords, we started working on the beat then started writing to it and made magic,” the musician revealed.
