11 tracks long, Nashville rapper Nate Rose‘s debut album Pie At The Party was released on July 29. This album is a celebration of the artist’s arduous yet rewarding journey as an independent artist.

The track “Tortoise & The Hare” details the nature of progress. Nate says, “This song is about being an independent artist (the tortoise) and working diligently for years to build a future compared to hastily signing a label deal (the hare) and giving away your ownership.”
