London rapper Speech Debelle did reveal a soulful hip hop tune named “Atlantis”. She accompanied the soothingly smooth track with an artistic music video. “Atlantis” follows the artist’s single “Away From Here” (featuring Baby Sol).

This thought-provoking new song explores connections to ancestry.

Debelle explains, “What if the lost city of Atlantis is real, and we have just learnt to breathe underwater? What if this is all just different forms of water? The atmosphere, the oceans, the universe, us. If that were true, then perhaps we are an advanced civilisation and later civilisations will find remnants of our lives and praise us. We are the ones we need.“
