Hamilton-based, Canadian vocal powerhouse Melissa Marchese‘s debut album is here with us. The LP is titled Mad Love and carries seven beautiful Motown-inspired tunes.
It arrived with the track “Sirens” and its accompanying video.
“Sirens” is a horn-driven song reflecting on the dire need to treat climate change as an existential threat.
Melissa explains, “The wrath we are already beginning to experience from humans’ destruction of the planet does not discriminate, and we should wake up and do something while we still can.”
As a whole, this album is well-crafted and amazing. Listen to it below via Spotify and connect with Melissa Marchese on Facebook or Instagram.
