A project formed during the 2020 pandemic, Virens is made up by vocalist Louisa and songwriter James. The indie-folk duo released their debut single “salut!” this January and have since unveiled the second.
Calling it “Stitch Me Back Up”, they created a soothing yet brooding song. It explores pain, dependency and remorse within a relationship. Louisa’s vocals and James’ instrumentation feel so complementary.
“Stitch Me Back Up” is lifted from the outfit’s forthcoming EP, Couples Therapy.
